Wait staff is friendly.
We did breakfast so it's got your basic breakfast stuff.
Nothing I'd write home about...but it's not bad.
It's in a gas station parking lot.
So, yeah...it's gonna be tough to beat 3-stars. -

Serves breakfast all day. Decent diner grub. Great (low) prices. Fries okra was yummy, as was the chicken fried steak. I think if you stick to 'fried' you're good.

Very pleasantly surprised! We were on the road heading to Dallas and wanted to grab breakfast. We ordered the two eggs, chorizo, hash browns with toast for $6. Note - You have the option to mix the chorizo in with your eggs if you order them scrambled. I had my eggs easy over and they were perfect, the hash browns had a nice crisp and were not greasy at all. The chorizo was very tasty and the plate comes with a small serving of a nice zesty hot (maybe habanero) sauce to spice it up if desired. You have a choice of wheat or white toast with choice of jelly. As a bonus our waitress brought us a nice sized serving of watermelon at no additional charge!
Food -4- Great basic breakfast, quality ingredients being well prepared!
Service - 4.5- Attentive and Friendly and we pleasantly surprised with the watermelon treat at the end as we had already been billed!
Atmosphere -3- It's clean nothing outstanding at a truck stop.
Price 5 - With tip we had breakfast for 3 for $30. This included a hot danish for $1 that my son ordered. Excellent price for the food we had!
I would drop in here often if I were a local!
O A - 4.5 Great value for the money. No frills! -

I tried the special of the day: the fried catfish. It was pretty good. Actually I think I liked all of the sides better, though. Everything from the salad to the cornbread and mashed potatoes and gravy were very delicious! I even liked the cole slaw, and I'm not a fan of coleslaw!
The service was friendly and efficient. Kept clean. I would definitely eat here again next time I'm thru this way.
